7 random facts about me. Since I've done this already on my other blog, I thought I'd do 7 random scrapbooking facts instead.
- I discovered scrapbooking in 2001/2002 while in the US. I was immediately hooked, but sadly hooked by bright colours and deco scissors! It didn't really become a passion until a couple years ago. Probably when I discovered the nice stuff.
- I love everything BasicGrey. So much that I buy it all and just hoard the paper. I usually have to talk myself into cutting into it!
- I never know how to define my "style" so I just go with eclectic
- I'm addicted to American Crafts Thickers
- When I'm working on a page and stumped I take a photo of it and look at it on my monitor. Somehow that gives me the right perspective to make changes.
- A few months ago I was doing at least a page a day, but I seem to be in a slump lately
- My current favourite colour combo is pink, blue and green

Scrapbooking, challenges and blogging, oh my!
Don't you love it when your favourite things come together? I'm so excited to have been asked to be part of the new Chit Chat Challenge blog.
The first challenge will be posted November 1st!
Here at Chit Chat Challenge, we are looking to inspire scrapbookers through language, techniques, and product usage. This site will be dedicated to those scrapbookers that are looking to push the envelope, and get out of their ruts in unique and innovative ways. Challenges will be posted every Friday and the Design Team will post ideas to get you started. Each challenge will be comprised of a quote, and a product, and/or technique to be included in your project.
The first challenge will be posted November 1st!

Change is good
I'm in the middle of a scrap space reorganisation. Probably the fourth one this year. As time passes I get better ideas on how to more efficiently organise and store my tools and supplies based on how I use them. This reorg actually started as a "I'm gonna tidy up a bit so I have room to work" thing, but it snowballed. I've had this idea to change the orientation of one of my work surfaces for a while. I didn't think it could work, but last night I tried, and it did. Granted I had to steal a bit of living room space to make it happen, but it was dead space anyway, so it's all good. Lucas didn't even object too much.
The last time I did a major reorg was back in May. Well twice in May. I wrote about the first time, but never got around to posting pics when I got a new desk and shelves later that month. So here is what it looks like in the middle of the change. (excuse the horrible photos but my space is really a dim cave and to make it worse it's a dreary day today)
I hope to be all done later today and with a bit of luck the sun will shine tomorrow so that I can post some photos of the finished product.

Some scraps
- Great e-mail
we would like to welcome you as a member of the Alpha Stamps Design Team!
I'm so pumped! Their stamps have me drooling
- Some scrappage
Pub ad Challenge:
BasicGrey Contest using Obscure Line :
Top Designer Round 3:
For ScrapGal DT - October Theme is Pretend:
- Things I'm loving lately:
Heidi Swapp Bird sticker - it's a good thing I only have a few left, else I'd use it on every page! And even when I don't use the actual sticker I work it in somehow by using it as a template to cut the shape out of patterned papers!
Hambly - nuff said
Every Jot & Tittle labels - I'm gonna go broke buying these
Crazy stitching - my poor sewing machine. I should be using it to hem up Lucas' jeans but instead it's working overtime in my scrap space
American Crafts Thickers - can you believe no one in France carries these?
Label and journaling stamps - again, nuff said
- Looking forward to Sunday and a planned flea market trip with Lucy. Ahhh, life is good!

- Helping out at a scrap store at the big craft expo today. What could be better than spending the day surrounded by scrappy goodness, hanging with other scrappers and initiating people into the cult, um club?
